Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in East Fayetteville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.

Construct a GAC Facility at the P.O. Hoffer Water Treatment Facility to include twelve post-filter GAC contactors, a filter gallery, an electrical room, an intermediate pump station with four vertical turbine can pumps, and a backwash pump station with three vertical turbine can pumps. Install yard piping and make connections to existing structures to provide a fully functional post-filter GAC system. Complete building, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems upgrades associated with this work. Start-up and commission all new facilities and associated equipment. At the Glenville Lake Water Treatment Facility, construct a GAC Facility to include ten dual-cell post-filter GAC contactors, a filter gallery, and an electrical room. Construct an intermediate pump station with three vertical turbine can pumps and a backwash pump station with two vertical turbine can pumps, a chemical injection/mixing vault, and splitter weir box. Install yard piping and make connections to existing structures to provide a fully functional post-filter GAC system. Complete building, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems upgrades associated with this work. Start-up and commission all new facilities and associated equipment. All work must comply with PWC technical specifications and standard contract terms. A mandatory pre-bid meeting must be attended by all prospective bidders. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes marked appropriately and accompanied by a bid bond of five percent of the bid amount. The awarded contractor must provide performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract amount and comply with all applicable North Carolina statutory requirements, including licensing and Minority/Women Business Enterprise participation requirements. No bids may be withdrawn for ninety calendar days after the scheduled bid opening. Fayetteville Public Works Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to award to the lowest responsible bidder, considering quality, performance, and time specified.
