Site work for a water / sewer project in Milford, Delaware. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Project involves the construction of improvements to Griffith Lake Dam located in Kent and Sussex Counties. The improvements include, but are not limited to demolition/removal of the existing spillway and the north and south abutment training walls; construction of new pile supported cast-in-place concrete spillway, runout apron, outlet structure and abutment walls; installation of a galvanized steel bar screen trash rack and a multi-leaf self-contained stainless steel weir gate and associated site work. Completion of all work shall be completed within 520 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the project site for the purpose of establishing the listing of subcontractors and to answer questions. Representatives of each party to any Joint Venture must attend this meeting. Attendance of this meeting is a prerequisite for bidding on this contract. Questions regarding this project must be emailed. Sealed bids shall be addressed to the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Watershed Stewardship, Attention: Janice L. Shute, P.E. The outer envelope should clearly indicate: "CONTRACT NO. NAT24001-DAMCONST- SEALED BID - DO NOT OPEN." Questions regarding this project must be emailed to Janice Shute at Janice.Shute@delaware.gov.
