Start/Delivery Date Spring 2026 Project Duration The dual-unit outage period is expected to be no more than thirty (30) days, while the single Unit-5 outage period may last longer. Subject to the ability to obtain an outage duration and approved by the SLDMWA and Reclamation. Online Q&A No. The Project includes the complete removal of existing coatings, surface preparation, and application of new coatings for the Units 5-6 discharge piping through the bifurcation, Units 5-6 butterfly valves, the Unit 5 suction elbow, and the Unit 5 pump casing at the Jones Pumping Plant. The Unit 5 suction elbow includes the steel pier nose on the concrete intake splitter immediately upstream of the suction elbow which will also need to be stripped and recoated. The rehabilitation includes work as described in the associated specifications. An overview is provided in Section 01 11 00 - Summary of Work. This work is subject to the ability to obtain an outage duration approved by the SLDMWA and Reclamation. The Project as a "public work" as that term is defined by Labor Code Section 1720, and the Project is, therefore, subject to prevailing wages under Labor Code Section 1771. Proposer and its Subcontractors shall fully comply with all the provisions of the California Labor Code governing the performance of public works contracts including, but not limited to, payment of prevailing wages, limitations on time worked, compliance with apprentice requirements, maintenance of payroll records, posting of wages at the job site and prohibitions against discrimination. Notice is further given that, as a public works project, each Proposer and all listed Subcontractors are required to be registered pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 at the time for receipt of Proposals. Failure of the Proposer to be registered at the time for receipt of Proposals shall render the Proposal non-responsive and unavailable for award. Any Subcontractor who is unregistered will not be permitted to work on the Project. If any Subcontractor required to be listed in the Proposal is unregistered, that Subcontractor will be required to be substituted with a registered Subcontractor at no additional cost to the SLDMWA and/or the listing of an unregistered Subcontractor may render the Proposal nonresponsive. Proposers shall provide the registration numbers for all listed Subcontractors with their Subcontractor Listing Form submitted with their Proposal. Registration numbers of all Subcontractors who are not required to be listed shall be submitted to the SLDMWA not later than 24 hours before they are to start work on the Project. Estimated Bid Value $1,200,000.00 - $1,300,000.00. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
