The Village of West Dundee, Kane County, Illinois seeks qualified and interested firms to submit Statements of Qualifications for providing all services, supervision, labor, and equipment necessary to provide the Village with Phase III Construction Engineering Services for the First Street Resurfacing Project in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The Village seeks professional engineering assistance for Phase III Construction Engineering for roadway resurfacing, pedestrian crossing curb bump outs, and ADA ramp improvements along 1st Street from Dunning Avenue to IL Route 72 (W Main Street) in the Village of West Dundee. The purpose of the project is to maintain important infrastructure by resurfacing the existing roadway along these limits and improve pedestrian safety and usability. This project is needed to address pedestrian safety concerns and and to preserve the existing condition of the roadway to prevent it from deteriorating to a worse condition and require full depth restoration. The key improvements include: Pavement resurfacing, curb and gutter repair, adjustments of drainage structures, crossing signage, pedestrian crossing curb bump outs, and ADA ramp improvements.
