Sealed bids are invited for the 2025 Contract Paving Project - Greenbriar and Meadowbrook for the City of Anderson, Indiana. Work shall be performed according to the bid plans and specifications provided by the City Engineer's Office. Materials, supplies, and work performed must meet requirements as may be designated by the Board of Public Works and may include independent testing of asphalt materials for liquid asphalt content. The Board of Public Works reserves the right to delete any section(s) of the bid proposal. All bidders must be pre-qualified for Indiana Department of Transportation work (INDOT). The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond and labor and materials payment bond for 100% of the contract amount, and these bonds must remain in effect for 12 months after project completion and acceptance. In submitting bids, bidders must include a financial statement, statement of experience, proposed plan for performing the work, details on equipment to be used, a non-collusion affidavit, bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the total bid proposal, employment eligibility verification, a drug testing plan for employees, certification of non-segregated facilities, a non-discrimination clause, workforce breakdown forms, and an affirmative action checklist. Failure to enter into a contract or provide required bonds will result in forfeiture of bid security. Bids are to be submitted on the specified forms and remain valid for 60 days from opening. The Board of Works may waive informalities or reject any or all bids.
