Renovation of a military facility in Longmont, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,982-square-foot military facility.

The scope of work includes providing a new 18-inch high raised access floor system covering approximately 2,982 square feet in the Control Wing Basement at ZDV. Two new ADA-compliant ramps and stairs will be installed to access the raised floor. A new 9-foot-6-inch partition will be constructed to enclose the raised access floor system. The existing nonconforming east door will be removed and replaced with a new door located within a newly constructed 2-hour rated alcove. The contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to complete the work in accordance with the attached drawings and specifications. Location: Control Wing Basement at ZDV (ZDV - Denver Air Route Traffic Control Center, 2211 17th Street, Aurora, CO 80011). This requirement is estimated to be between $250,000.00 to 500,000.00. All questions regarding the project/specifications/plans must be received in writing (jason.m.perry@faa.gov) no later than 4:00 p.m. CST, 14 January 2026 to allow for responses to be provided prior to due date for receipt of proposals. *Please notify the POC NLT 2 business days (05 January 2026) if the offeror plans on attending the site visit. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. These specifications, together with the referenced specifications, standards and drawings specified in the Contract Documents, cover the Four Channel Raised Floor and SRG requirements of the FAA. This project includes work in the Four Channel Area (B120A) to construct a raised floor system, two new ADA accessible ramps, a set of steps and a signal reference grid system (SRG). All work and scheduling must be coordinated with the COR and all other contractors present at the ZDV facility. All field conditions, measurements and quantities must be field verified by the contractor prior to bidding. This works includes, but is not limited to, the following listed items: DEMOLITION: Contractor must supply adequate waste disposal dumpster on project site for all waste associated with the project. 1. Demolish (2) existing ramps, (1) set of steps and associated handrails, railings, etc. Patch and repair as necessary where demolished. 2. Remove existing central vacuum drops and inlets, cap at top of column or wall for future use. Patch and repair where removed. 3. Remove power and tele/data outlets, retain for relocation to code compliant height. 4. Remove lighting controls, retain for relocation to code compliant height. Patch and repair where removed. 5. Remove existing fire alarm horn/strobe, retain for relocation to code compliant height. Patch and repair where removed. 6. Remove existing light fixtures where indicated above new raised floor area, retain for relocation. 7. Remove existing door at east side of room and demo portions of adjacent ARCHITECTURAL: All work must be completed in compliance with the 2024 International Building Code (IBC-2024) and NFPA 101. 1. Install a new raised floor system in the Four Channel Area (B120A). 2. Construct (2) new ADA accessible ramps, (1) set of steps, and associated handrails and railings. 3. Construct 9' high partitions (steel framing/gypsum board) around perimeter of new raised floor. 4. Install static dissipative carpet tiles and static dissipative rubber tiles on raised floor panels and rubber flooring on new ramps and steps. 5. Install new door, door frame with door hardware in new door alcove as indicated on drawings. 6. Paint all new partitions, all new drywall surfaces and patch, repair and paint existing partitions as indicated on drawings. ELECTRICAL: All electrical work must completed according to the current revision of the National Electric Code (NEC), FAA Standard 19F Chg 3 and FAA Standard 1217H Chg 1. 1. Install SRG below new raised floor system. 2. Relocate power and tele/data outlets, where indicated, to code compliant height. FIRE, LIFE AND SAFETY: All work must be completed in compliance with the 2024 International Building Code (IBC-2024) and NFPA 101. 1. Relocate existing fire alarm horn/strobe to code compliant height. 2. Provide and install new fire alarm horn/strobe. 3. Provide and install new LED illuminated exit sign.
