The project consists of furnishing and delivering one 48-inch, single disk or double disk, metal seated, non-rising stem (NRS) gate valve with an 8-inch bypass gate valve and a corresponding gearbox. Bidders must include references and a list of at least five similar projects completed. The project will be conducted under a single prime contract. Bidders must comply with relevant affirmative action regulations and New Jersey contractor business registration requirements. Each bid must be submitted using the forms provided, enclosed in a sealed envelope clearly labeled with the contract number, title, bid time and date, and question cut-off date. Bids sent via overnight service must indicate a sealed bid is enclosed. Each bid requires a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for 10% of the contract price (not to exceed $20,000) as security, as well as a consent of surety for 100% of the contract price.
