Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Malden, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
The scope of work includes the installation of a new shade pergola/trellis and bench along the Willow Street sidewalk; improvements to the existing skatepark fence including the addition of shade fabric; new perimeter plantings and associated landscape enhancements. Instructions to bidders are as follows: Sealed bids must be clearly labeled with the project name and submitted on forms supplied by the City. Bids must be signed by the bidder and accompanied by a bid deposit equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid value estimated at $78,000. Bids must be filed with the City of Malden before 12:00 P.M. on the deadline date, at which time they will be opened and read aloud. Late bids will be rejected. All bids are subject to all applicable provisions of Massachusetts General Laws and to the terms and conditions set forth in the Contract Documents. Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents shall make a written request to the Office of the Controller, at purchasing@cityofmalden.org with Mackenzie Morrison cc'd (mcmorrison@bscgroup.com). The City will only answer such requests if received by Monday December 15th, 2025 at 12:00 P.M.
