Site work and new construction of a medical facility in Sundre, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a medical facility.
Plans call for a new community campus of care centre to serve as a centralized location for health and emergency services to replace the Myron Thompson Health Centre. TIMELINE: Project is conceptual. The owner is currently seeking interest from the private sector to form a public-private-partnership. The goal is to form a limited partnership to negotiate a lease with Alberta Health Services to replace the current Sundre Health Centre. The Preferred Partner(s) (PP) is open to suggest replacement of the Sundre facility at its current site or to provide a different site that may be more suitable for the development. Options could include land swaps with the Government of Alberta or the Town of Sundre. These land transactions may or may not form a component of the equity provided to the joint venture. Further update may be available in 2026. *Cost to be determined.
