Site work and new construction of a medical facility in Sundre, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a medical facility.
Plans call for a new community campus of care centre to serve as a centralized location for health and emergency services to replace the Myron Thompson Health Centre. This facility will serve as a regional hub, potentially co-locating primary care clinics, emergency medical services (EMS), long-term care beds, and community wellness spaces. TIMELINE: Project is conceptual. The owner is seeking formal expressions of interest for the acquisition of land to develop the proposed facility. The project is expected to be delivered through public-private-partnership. The goal is to form a limited partnership to negotiate a lease with Alberta Health Services to replace the current Sundre Health Centre. Further update may be available in late 2026. *Cost to be determined.
