Renovation of a municipal facility in Breese, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Contractor shall be responsible for all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the design, fabrication, construction, painting, disinfection and testing of an elevated welded steel water storage tank supported by a steel support pedestal. Design and construction of the Elevated Tank shall conform to all requirements of AWWA D100 Standard for Welded Steel Tanks for Water Storage (latest edition) except as modified by the requirements of these contract documents. This section covers submersible tank mixing systems up to 0.5 HP in size intended for continuous use while submersed in potable water storage tanks. Each mixer shall have the ability to function continuously on a year-round basis, regardless of drain and fill cycles. Each mixer shall consist of a low-voltage, water-filled submersible motor, an impeller and a non-submersible control center that houses all control electronics.
