Sealed bids are for furnishing all equipment, labor, materials, and appurtenances required for the additional restoration/rehabilitation of the Historic Humboldt Auditorium. 1. Exterior work includes non-historic window replacements at the North elevation, existing window restoration/refinishing, repairing/refinishing historic concrete, and cleaning/sealing limestone. 2. Interior work includes electrical revisions at Stage 107b, window treatments at new windows, refinishing wood floor and base at Auditorium 107, refinishing historic wood doors in Auditorium 107, and refinishing historic ticket booth surround in Lobby 100. 3. Alternate No. 1 work includes refinishing wood floor and base at Stage 107b. Reference 012300 - Alternates. Bids must include a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for 5% of the proposal, payable to the City of Humboldt. Items transmitted by facsimile or electronically will not be accepted. Bidders must be registered with SAM.gov. All qualified parties, including minority-owned, women-owned, and low-income-owned entities are encouraged to submit bids. Contractors and consultants must comply with all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations, including nondiscrimination provisions. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities to accept the bid deemed most beneficial.
