The City of Shreveport Department of SporTran is seeking Consulting Architectural and Engineering Services for the design of the Autonomous Vehicle Maintenance and Charging Facility. The selected contractor shall provide all services necessary for the design, construction, and project close-out of the SporTran Autonomous Vehicle Maintenance and Charging Facility This solicitation does not commit the City to award a contract, to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of a response, or to contract for the services. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all responses received as a result of this request, to waive informalities, to negotiate with all qualified consultants, or to cancel in part or in its entirety, if it is in the best interest of the City to do so. The selected consultant will be requested to adhere to the City's Fair Share/DBE Program requirements. Only other fees allowed will be: As negotiated for Surveying, Right-of-Way an Environmental, when needed. The City reserves the right to contract for these separately. Design completion: Spring 2026 Construction starts: Fall 2026 Construction completion: 2027 Close-out and occupancy: 2027 The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. ** RFQ date info : In the Transmittal Letter include the names of all subs and an estimate of the Fair Share/DBE goal to be achieved. Provide an electronic copy (CD or USB drive) of your response in an ATTACHED (NOT A LOOSE) pocket file with each copy (13 documents) of your submittal.
