Renovation of an educational facility in Shreveport, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids are requested for the Huntington High School HVAC Upgrade-Phase II, Project No. 2027-753 for the Caddo Parish School Board. All bidders must possess a Louisiana contractor license with a major classification as a Mechanical Contractor. Bid security equal to five percent of the total bid is required, and the successful bidder must provide a performance bond for the full contract amount. Liquidated damages of $1,000 per day will apply for work not completed beyond the established completion date of July 31, 2026. Bids cannot be withdrawn for forty-five days after opening. The Caddo Parish School Board encourages a good faith effort to utilize 25% small and economically disadvantaged businesses. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at Huntington High School, and attendance by an officer, estimator, or other individual knowledgeable with preparing the bid is required for bidder eligibility. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Caddo Parish School Board desires that Bidders make a good faith effort to utilize 25% small and economically disadvantaged businesses.
