Renovation of an educational facility in Shreveport, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
SEALED BIDS will be received for Caddo Parish School Board Forest Hill Elementary School HVAC Upgrade; Project No. 2027-752. Bidders must be Louisiana licensed contractors with a major classification as a Mechanical Contractor. BID SECURITY equal to five percent (5%) of the Total Bid is required, attached as a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana. Liquidated Damages will apply in the amount of $1,000.00 per day for each consecutive calendar day the work is not completed beyond the established completion date of July 31, 2026. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after the date of the opening. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bidders are encouraged to make a good faith effort to utilize 25% small and economically disadvantaged businesses. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid conference at Forest Hill Elementary School is a pre-condition for bidder eligibility. *Contractors must pay a $100 deposit and obtain a physical copy from Aillet, Fenner, Jolly & McClelland, Inc. in order to receive a digital copy of plans and be placed on the Bidder's List.*
