Renovation of an educational facility in Shreveport, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids are requested for the Linear/Northside HVAC, Project No. 2027-755. Bidding documents may be obtained from EMA Engineering & Consulting, Inc., with a $100.00 deposit per set (refundable to bonafide prime bidders upon return of documents in good condition within ten days after bid receipt). A Louisiana licensed contractor with a major classification as a Mechanical Contractor is required for this project. Bid security equal to 5% of the total bid must be included, either as a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check in accordance with LA RS 38:2218. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond for 100% of the contract amount, from a company licensed in Louisiana. Liquidated damages are set at $1,000.00 per day for each calendar day past the completion date of July 31, 2026. No bid may be withdrawn for 45 days after bid opening. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Bidders are encouraged to make a good faith effort to utilize 25% small and economically disadvantaged businesses. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid conference is required for eligibility to bid; individuals must sign in between 1:15 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. at the meeting location. Persons arriving late will not be allowed to submit a prime bid. The project budget is $1,500,000.00.
