Sealed or electronic bids are invited for District 3 Roadway Rehabilitation Phase 2. Bids must be received in the Purchasing Division, Government Plaza, Suite 610, 505 Travis Street, Shreveport, Louisiana 71101, no later than 2:00 p.m. on February 12, 2026. Vendors/Contractors may submit responses electronically or by paper copy. Outside of the bid envelope, list the Bidder's name, address, license number, bid number, project name, opening date/time, and the City's address. An acceptable bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check payable to the City of Shreveport, in an amount not less than five percent of the bid, including additive alternates, must accompany the bid. All bonds applicable must be accompanied by an original power of attorney. A performance bond equal to 100% of the contract amount, a 50% payment bond, and a 10% two-year maintenance bond will be required of the successful bidder. Bidders on bids of $50,000 or more must be licensed under Louisiana Revised Statute 37:2150 et seq. and show their license number in the bid and on the envelope or designated place in the electronic bid. The licensee shall only bid or perform work within their license classification. Before the contract is awarded, the contractor shall pay all outstanding taxes, licenses, fees, and other charges due to the City. The City reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids for just cause.
