Renovation of an educational facility in Shreveport, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids are requested for Creswell HVAC, Project No. 2027-751. Bidding documents are obtainable from Edmonds Engineering Services LLC for a deposit, refundable under specified conditions. Only Louisiana-licensed contractors with a major classification as Mechanical are eligible. Bid security equal to 5% of the total bid is required, in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier’s check. If a bid bond is used, it must be on the provided form by a qualified Louisiana-licensed surety. The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond for 100% of the contract amount, written by a licensed Louisiana company. Liquidated damages of $1,000 per day apply for work not completed after the established completion date. Bids are irrevocable for 45 days post-opening. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bidders are encouraged to make a good faith effort to use 25% small and economically disadvantaged businesses. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid conference is required for bid eligibility; late arrivals or those who do not remain for the full duration are prohibited from bidding.
