Sealed or electronic bids are requested for the supply of sodium chlorite for water treatment. Bids must be addressed to the Purchasing Agent for the City of Shreveport and received in the Purchasing Division at Government Plaza, Suite 610, 505 Travis Street, Shreveport, Louisiana 71101. Bids will be publicly opened and announced in the Finance Department's Conference Room 690, Government Plaza. Estimated expenditure is $300,000.00. Bid documents are available at www.shreveportla.gov/solicitations or by emailing kimberly.floyd@shreveportla.gov. Vendors and contractors may submit responses electronically or by paper copy. Bidders are responsible for inquiring about any issued addenda and must ensure that all taxes, licenses, fees, and other charges due to the City are paid before the contract is awarded. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor informalities.
