Renovation of an educational facility in Shreveport, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids will be received for Youree Drive Restrooms, Project No. 2027-245. Complete bidding documents may be obtained from mcnew Architecture, APAC, upon receipt of $100.00 for each set of documents. If the documents are to be shipped, there is an additional $75.00 fee. Prime bidders must obtain an original set of documents from the designer. The deposit is fully refundable for bona fide prime bidders who submit a bid and return the documents in good condition within ten days after receipt of bids. Bidding documents will be available in the designer's office on or about February 12, 2026. A Louisiana licensed contractor with a major classification as building construction is required. Bid security equal to 5% of the total bid must be attached and in the proper form. The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond equal to 100% of the contract amount. Liquidated damages apply at $400.00 per day for each consecutive calendar day beyond the established completion date of 67 calendar days. No bid may be withdrawn for 45 days after the bid opening. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bidders are strongly encouraged to make a good faith effort to utilize 25% small and economically disadvantaged businesses. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid conference by a qualified individual is required as a pre-condition for bidder eligibility. Prospective bidders must remain in attendance for the duration of the conference; failure to do so will prohibit submission of a bid for the project. QA deadline extended from 03/13/2026, Questions must be submitted by Tuesday, March 17th by 2:00pm, seven (7) calendar days prior to Bid Opening as per Addendum 1
