Renovation of an educational facility in Shreveport, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids are solicited for the J.S. Clark Locker Room project, Project No. 2027-222, by the Caddo Parish School Board. Complete bidding documents are available from TBA Studio for a refundable deposit. Only prime bidders who acquire documents from the designer may bid. A Louisiana-licensed General Contractor classification is required. Bid security of 5% of the total bid must accompany each bid in the prescribed forms. The successful bidder must provide a 100% performance bond. Liquidated damages of $600 per day will be assessed for each day beyond the 67-day completion date. Bids cannot be withdrawn for 45 days after opening. The Board reserves the right to reject all bids. Bidders are encouraged to make a good faith effort to utilize 25% small and economically disadvantaged businesses. Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid conference is required for bid eligibility. Bidders must remain for the entire conference; failure to do so disqualifies them from submitting a bid. The Caddo Parish School Board desires that Bidders make a good faith effort to utilize 25% small and economically disadvantaged businesses.
