Renovation of an educational facility in Schenectady, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
The County of Schenectady is accepting bids for the SUNY SCCC Café and Gathering Space Renovations located at 78 Washington Ave., Schenectady, NY 12305. There will be four prime contracts for this project. Bidders may obtain digital copies of specifications from BidNet Direct or by requesting them from the Purchasing Department. Paper copies are also available for pick-up if requested via email in advance. A mandatory pre-bid walkthrough must be attended by all prospective bidders, with two possible dates provided. Failure to attend one of these walkthroughs will result in disqualification. All proposals are to be delivered in a sealed envelope marked "Bid" with the project and contract number, to the Purchasing Agent by the specified due date and time. Bid Security must be submitted with each bid. Woman and minority owned businesses are encouraged to submit, and there is a total MWBE contracting goal of 5%. The County reserves the right to investigate the responsibility of bidders, to waive any informality, or to reject any or all bids. Question Deadline 01/05/2026 at 2:00 PM ET Questions should be submitted to purchasing@schenectadycountyny.gov. Questions received less than (3) days prior to the date of Bid opening may not be answered. Total MWBE Goals: 5.00%
