The scope of work includes upgrading USCGC SLEDGE's obsolete Notifier AFP 200 fire alarm system to the Notifier AFP 320 system and renewing all associated components. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and tools necessary to complete the upgrade, including removal of existing components (except wiring deemed satisfactory), installation of new AFP 320 system components, and restoration of system zones to their designed configuration in accordance with Coast Guard drawings and applicable standards. Protective measures must be implemented during work, and all removed materials shall be disposed of per federal, state, and local regulations. The contractor will conduct inspections, testing of all sensors and components, and provide NFPA fire alarm certification. OEM specifications must be met, and an OEM standard warranty provided. Upon successful testing and certification, the contractor shall conduct system operation training for ship personnel. Qualified personnel are required to perform all tasks outlined in the SOW. The period of performance shall begin within 10 calendar days of award and conclude within 14 days after work commencement. Work will generally occur Monday through Friday between 0730 and 1600 EST, with flexibility for weekends or holidays as needed. Contractor travel may be required and will be at no cost to the Government. The contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, and services necessary to fulfill the contract requirements.
