Site work and new construction of a development in Milton, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a development; and for site work for a development.

This project involves furnishing all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and performing all operations related to artificial reef material construction, handling, loading, transport, and deployment. Contractors will be responsible for manufacturing, preparing, transporting, deploying, and precisely placing artificial reef modules, which must conform to minimum specifications, requirements, and all state and federal permit conditions. Approximately 10-15 patch reefs will be deployed about 500 feet apart, with the final number, design, spacing, and coordinates determined and provided by the County. Contractors must comply with all terms and conditions as specified in permit documents, agreements, and all applicable laws and regulations. Proposers are responsible for fully understanding all requirements prior to submission. All bids are to be submitted online through the designated procurement portal. The County reserves the right to waive irregularities in bids, reject any or all bids for documented reasons, and to award as deemed in the County's best interest. Question Deadline 12/19/2025 at 12:00 PM CT Questions concerning this request should be submitted through the procurement portal Project Description: The applicant seeks the reauthorization of Nearshore East and Nearshore West artificial reef sites, to provide habitat and recreational fishing and diving opportunities. Each of the artificial reef sites are rectangular in shape and measure 1 nautical mile by 2 nautical miles. Both reef sites shall maintain a deployment buffer of 0.10 nautical mile on each side. Material to be deployed shall consist of clean concrete or rock, heavy gauge steel products inch or more in thickness, military surplus items, prefabricated structures that are a mixture of clean concrete and heavy gauge steel and chicken transport devices. A minimum authorized depth of -26 feet shall be maintained from the highest point of any deployed material to the Mean Lower Low Water (MLLW) line in both Nearshore East and Nearshore West.
