Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Brunswick, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.

As of March 12, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The project includes the construction of a 75,000-gallon elevated storage tank, the abandonment of the two wells in Duchess Forest, and the installation of 14 fire hydrants and 14 in-line valves. Bidders are required to show evidence of their current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the proposal is delivered. All project related questions are to be submitted in writing. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with Section 109 and E.O. 11246 which prohibits discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin, and must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Davis Bacon Act, Anti-Kickback Act, and Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act. The use of Small, Minority/Women-Owned Business, Veteran-Owned, and Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB) contract participation is encouraged. No contract may be awarded to any contractor that is debarred, suspended or otherwise ineligible to participate in Federally assisted contracts or programs. Contractors must be actively registered, with no exclusions, with SAM.gov and not on NC Debarred Vendors list prior to award. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the bid opening date. The Town of Brunswick reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
