Questions must be received by December 11, 2025, by 2:00 PM EST. Responses will be issued December 15, 2025, by 5:00 PM EST. Please submit all questions or concerns for this RFQ to Kristie King, Chief Financial Officer, kking@bullochcounty.net. All email correspondence during the question & response period must include the project identifier FY26-CP-JAIL02 in the subject line of the email. Step I of the Jail Addition Study includes space programmed for: 160-bed general population - male housing unit 128-bed female housing unit It is important to note that the Study is conceptual in nature, and the private uses will be further defined as to layout and location after a more detailed review and density studies are prepared by the architects & engineers who will be engaged for the project. The Jail Addition Study and the images presented are meant to give a high-level example of what the Project could look like, as it brings life to the new jail housing units. The imagery that is being shared is to give a sense of idea only, and the final designs will be determined during this Step of the development process. The Bulloch County Board of Commissioners and Sheriff's Office will have final approvals over the design of the jail addition project The preliminary Stated Cost Limitation (SCL) or construction cost of the Project is estimated at $55,000,000. The final SCL may be revised by the County due to final programmatic requirements, funding availability or other circumstances.
