Renovation of a residential development in Agawam, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

New kitchen cabinets, countertop, appliances, flooring and base, replacement bathroom flooring and base and exhaust fan, new interior door locksets and passage sets, stairway railings, refinishing all wood flooring, and complete painting. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Question Deadline 12/12/2025 Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents shall make a written request to the Architect. The Architect will answer such requests if received seven (7) calendar days before the date for receipt of the bids. The Work of the Contract consists of: 1. Work of this project: a. Minor asbestos demolition. b. Replacement bathroom resilient flooring. c. New kitchen resilient flooring. d. Sanding and refinishing all wood flooring. e. All new kitchen cabinets, countertops, and appliances including wiring. f. Replacement bathroom exhaust fan. g. Scraping, priming and painting throughout the apartment interior h. All new locksets and passage sets throughout the interior. 2. Contractors are to field verify all existing conditions and dimensions prior to bidding. Any discrepancies are to be reported to the architect immediately. 3. Contractors are reminded that not every detail of construction can be shown on the drawings and that not every part of every assembly can be listed in the specifications. The owner assumes that contractors are experienced tradesman who estimate and supply all the required materials for their trades as having visited the site prior to bidding. 4. Protect all existing finishes to remain during construction. Contractor is responsible for repairing any and all existing finishes damaged during construction to the architect and owner's satisfaction. 5. Protect all existing finished to remain. Assure that all electrical devices continue to function during the entire period of demolition and construction 6. Contractor must provide a detailed schedule prior to starting work for each area adjacent to a building. The schedule shall take into consideration the required 48 Hour Notice that the LHA needs to inform Residents of the commencement of work. RCAT and the LHA shall review the schedule and approve prior to the start of any work. Proposed work not adhering to the 48 hour resident notification rule will not be allowed. 8 Work either shown on the Drawings or included in the specifications unless specifically indicated not to be done. 9. Work outside the Project Site as called for in the Contract Documents and as required for the performance of the Work. 10. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities
