Provide labor and material necessary for the replacement of exhaust fans at the Chelsea District Court . Pre-bid site visit information available in Online . Bid Deposit Required: 5% of the value of the total bid. The project work consists of the replacement of several exhaust fans and VAV boxes at the Chelsea District Courthouse in Chelsea, MA. The renovation shall be constructed so as to meet all requirements of the Contract Documents, including, but not limited to, the plans and specifications for Massachusetts State Project: Chelsea District Courthouse Exhaust Fan Replacements. B. General Project Information : The scope of this project includes the replacement of four exhaust fans, two VAV boxes with reheat coils, and air and water balancing for the equipment and downstream air inlets and outlets. Three roof mounted exhaust fans will be replaced with the new fans installed on the existing roof curbs. The fourth exhaust fan to be replace is in the HVAC mechanical room. The two VAVs to be replaced are located on the west side of the basement of the courthouse. A security ceiling must be removed in locations throughout the holding cell area to gain access to existing volume dampers and reinstalled. C. The scope of work, without limiting the generality thereof, includes all labor, materials, equipment and services required to perform the work described fully in the Drawings and Specifications and includes, but is not limited to the following major work: 1. Construction of a renovation including, but not limited to: a. Mechanical b. Electrical. c. Security ceiling and ACT removal and reinstallation. D. Construction shall be classified as 3B Existing.. E. Reference To Drawings: The work to be done under this Contract is shown on the Drawings listed at the end of this Section. F. The Contractor shall provide a schedule for completion of the project to the Office of Court Management (OCM) and Designer within the construction period set forth in the Contract. G. The Massachusetts Standard Labor Wage rates contained in the Contract Documents, as updated on an annual basis, will be used throughout the construction of this project.
