The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation is seeking bids from mobile home dealers for the demolition and replacement construction of one two-bedroom, two-bathroom mobile home located in Sequoyah County. The contractor is to provide all necessary labor, quality control, licenses, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, permits, insurance, and supervision to complete the project within 45 work days after receiving the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages of $100 per working day will be charged for project completion beyond the contract end date. Contract extensions are permitted only under extenuating circumstances. The project is to be fully executed within ten days of award, or the bid becomes void. Indian preference is given to contractors with current certification from the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employments Rights Office. Interested bidders must submit at minimum: completed bid sheets, Mandatory Bid Response Sheet, Non-Collusive Affidavit, Previous Work History Form, and TERO Certification if applicable. Bidders are responsible for bid preparation and submission costs. Informal or conditional bids will not be accepted, and late bids will not be considered and will be returned unopened. The successful bidder must comply with TERO Labor Agreement requirements and submit all related fees and paperwork for contract execution. HACN reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to determine the bidder's qualifications for contract obligations and completion of work.
