Scope of Services Howard County intends to procure the services of a construction firm to furnish all materials and the construction, complete in place, of architectural and structural improvements; mechanical equipment and piping replacement; valves; HVAC equipment replacement; electrical equipment, conduit and wiring replacements; controls/SCADA equipment, conduit and wiring replacement; bypass vault, piping and valves; and temporary bypass pumping services and miscellaneous appurtenances and incidental items of work as shown on the contract drawings for Contract 44-5245, or as directed by the Engineer. Liquidated Damages $1,000.00 per calendar day Project Duration 540 Calendar Days Each bid shall be accompanied by an electronic copy of a bid bond OR certified check, in the amount of 5% of the total bid, made payable to the "Director of Finance, Howard County". For a certified check, the Contractor shall submit the original certified check to the Office of Procurement and Contract Administration PRIOR to the bid due date and time to be deemed responsive.
