The City is seeking Contractors to furnish all necessary supervision, labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to supply, install, and repair various types of floor coverings and flooring materials, including carpeting, vinyl tile, carpet tiles, rubber tiles, and other cement coverings. The services will be in various municipal and school locations throughout the City on an as needed basis as determined by the Facilities Department for less than $50,000.00 per project. The City intends to award up to five contracts to the lowest responsible and eligible bidders. The total estimated value of all contracts shall not exceed $750,000.00. The term of the contract will be for three years, and contracts exceeding $150,000.00 will require DCAMM certification. Massachusetts DLS Prevailing Wage rates apply. The City's goal is twenty percent MWBE participation. The Office of Procurement reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
