Renovation of a residential development in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
OPWDD' s Brooklyn DDSO intends to procure electrical work to install 2 new circuits (per the attached scope of work) pursuant to its discretionary purchasing authority. Please be advised, attendance at a site visit is mandatory prior to submitting a quote. If your company would like to be considered for this project, please review the attached scope of work and any supporting documents. This is a NYS Public Works Project and Prevailing Wages MUST be paid. Vendors / sub-contractors must be registered with NYS DOL and a copy of the certificate must be sent with your quote (see guidelines in the documents tab). Any questions or requests for clarification regarding the information provided may be directed to Brooklyn.CMM.Bids@opwdd.ny.gov. Any vendor questions not asked during the site visit must be submitted in writing to: Brooklyn.CMM.Bids@opwdd.ny.gov (within two business days of the site visit: December 22, 2025). The vendor shall provide all labor as necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 30 days of award, unless modified below. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned, and all materials secured at the end of each workday. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of the installations, before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent. Piping and wiring for two damaged circuits 1. Supply (2) 15-amp circuits from the basement to 4 th floor bathroom to pick up damage lines. 2. Supply and install 15-amp breaker. 3. Circuits to be ran from basement to 4 th floor utilizing the backyard running up the building to the 4 th floor. 4. Circuits are to be piped on the exterior of the building (3/4" aluminum). EMT can be used as the interior piping of the job. 5. Vendor can transition behind the bathroom wall from EMT to BX cable. 6. All exterior penetrations are to be sealed with appropriate sealant. 7. All interior penetrations are to be sealed with firestopping material. 8. All work to be NYS Code compliant. 9. All work to be completed and signed off by a licensed Electrician. 10. All work and final approval to be done AHJ or Plant Superintendent. A report stating any defects, repairs, replacement, or otherwise hazardous condition shall be reported immediately. Recommendations for repairs, replacement, in the report shall be provided.
