1. The bid price shall include the removal and placement of soil as described below. 2. A Base bid shall be for a 4"compacted placement. Alternate "A" shall be for a 6" compacted placement. 3. Alternate "B" shall be for the placement of a warning track along the outfield fence line with a width of 12 feet, with removal of excess soil. 5. The mix combination is as follows: a. Total Sand: 60-65 percent b. Total Silt: 17.1 percent c. Total Clay: 22.9 percent d. Silt/Clay Ratio: 0.75-1.00 e. Medium Sand/Total Sand ratio: >=0.50 f. Sandy Clay Loam 7. Depth shall be 4 inches compacted. 8. The company shall provide proof of similar completed projects, along with contact information for the references. 9. Infield mix shall be placed in areas as indicated on the attached drawing (excluding the pitcher's mound) 10. Bid Price as well as Completion date will be used in selecting the lowest and best bid.
