The City of Gordon is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from municipal engineering consultants for anticipated capital improvement projects within the next three years in the corporate limits of Gordon, Nebraska. Projects may include infrastructure improvements such as the rehabilitation of streets, installation of sidewalks, upgrading of storm drain systems, and improvements to the sewer system and lagoons, as well as any urgent projects requiring engineering oversight. Services may include preliminary design, final design, bidding, construction observation, coordination of construction including scheduling of contractors, and incidental special services to complete projects according to required standards and requirements. A qualification-based selection process will be used; fee information is not to be submitted and will not be considered in the selection. Agreements with the selected consultant are subject to Federal Rules and Regulations. Consultants will be evaluated based on capability and experience, knowledge of standards and procedures, relevant experience, history of meeting schedules and budgets, and understanding of project challenges and concerns. Up to five firms may be shortlisted for further interviews. Statements must be concise, with specific requirements on length and format, and must be submitted in both hard copy and by email. The Sponsor reserves the right to reject any or all Statements, and submittals become the property of the Sponsor.
