Addition to a fire / police facility in Amarillo, Texas. Working plans call for the addition of a 3,500-square-foot, one-story above grade, 14-room fire / police facility.
As of 1/19/2025, owner has determined the shortlisted CMAR. Randall County is seeking proposals for Construction Manager at Risk (CM) Services from qualified firms to manage the construction of the Fire Station #1 Addition project, located at 1111 E. Loop 335 South, Amarillo, TX. The project consists of approximately 3,500 sq ft in total. Scope of work includes expansion by constructing a new addition measuring approximately 130 feet by 22 feet to the north side of the facility, using prefabricated metal construction to match the existing structure. The addition will contain eight offices, a storage room, an IT server room, an electrical room, a janitor's closet, separate single men's and women's restrooms, a large conference/meeting room, an open kitchen/serving area, an open break area, an internal door to access the existing facility, and two exterior doors at the east and west ends of the addition. Proposals must be submitted by the specified deadline.
