Site work for a communication facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade communication facility.
Questions Due Date: Dec 23rd 2025, 1:00 PM MST Salt Lake County Contracts and Procurement on behalf of Salt Lake County Public Works Operations Division invites bids on Boring or Directional Drilling. The County reserves the right to award multiple contracts to responsive, responsible bidders who meet qualifications and bid the lowest overall cost to the County. Projects may occur at various times and locations within Salt Lake County. Typical projects under this contract will include: a. Boring three legs of an intersection (less than 150 feet) with six 2" conduits for a traffic signal installation. b. Boring one 3" conduit for power connection to Rocky Mountain Power. c. Boring two 2'' conduits for street lights. Typically multiple bores of approximately 400 feet. SCOPE OF WORK, TASKS AND REQUIREMENTS: For each project, the selected contractor shall: a. Review the site plans and documents for the work to be performed; b. Review the site, including underground utilities; c. Provide a cost to perform the requested work. A site-specific bid schedule will be provided to each contractor in the pool; d. Acquire all required permits from the local jurisdiction(s); e. Locate all utilities by potholing before boring and repair the potholes according to the local jurisdiction's specifications. f. Install conduit and perform all other work according to the plans and specifications provided and as directed by the Project Manager; g. Remove and replace concrete, asphalt or landscaping as directed in the plans and specifications or as directed by the Project Manager. h. Provide a bore log and red line drawing with locations referenced to the bore log; i. Restore any area disturbed to a condition equal or better than it was prior to performing the work. j. The Contractor shall ensure that all supervisory personnel and personnel operatingequipment are qualified through licensing, certifications, training, experience, and appropriate certification for the tasks assigned. k. The Contractor shall not subcontract directional boring. Subcontractors for other required work must be approved by the Project Manager.
