Renovation of an educational facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Salt Lake City School District (SLCSD), in conjunction with our design-build partner McKinstry, is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking a vendor to provide the electrical goods and services in relation to the HVAC retrofit to be completed at Whittier Elementary School. The scope of work described in this RFP includes the Electrical scope of work associated with the HVAC retrofit work to be completed at the school. The overall scope of work for the project includes Mechanical retrofit work inside the building as well as the installation of the ground loop bore field outside the building. Subcontractors responding to this RFP should include all required trades for the line voltage electrical components of the project. Piping, insulation, mechanical equipment, controls, TAB, etc. work shall be provided through a separate RFP. The drilling, earthwork, and installation of the ground loop system will also be through a separate RFP. Please refer to the construction documents and project specifications included with this RFP for detailed equipment and material installation requirements. Questions Due: December 23rd, 12 PM ALL questions concerning this solicitation MUST be submitted through the online system. Only answers issued through the online system or issued via an authorized and properly issued addendum shall be the official position of the SLCSD.
