Renovation of an industrial development in Austin, Texas. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade industrial development.

SCOPE: In accordance with the provisions of Texas Government Code, Chapter 2254, Subchapter A, Professional Services, and Rules and Procedures adopted by the Texas Facilities Commission (TFC), TFC is requesting submittal of qualifications to provide prime professional architectural/engineering (A/E) services for Project #25-035-3303. The project encompasses a comprehensive upgrade of the existing Central Utility Plant (CUP) and associated infrastructure at the Texas School for the Deaf (TSD) campus. The CUP provides chilled and heating water thermal utilities to twenty buildings, including educational facilities, dormitories, administrative offices, gyms, and the campus auditorium. Due to increasing thermal loads from past and planned campus expansions, the CUP and related systems have reached maximum operational capacity. The proposed improvements are essential to ensuring adequate capacity, system reliability, and energy efficiency to support current and future campus needs. CONTRACT TERM: It is the intention of TFC to award a Contract for full prime professional architectural/engineering (A/E) services for the term of the project. Services undertaken pursuant to this RFQ will be required to commence within fifteen (15) calendar days of delivery of a Notice to Proceed. The Project associated with the services requested in this solicitation is anticipated to be four hundred and sixty (460) calendar days.
