Construction of the Water, Sanitary Sewer, and Drainage Facilities to Serve Artavia Section 46. Sealed proposals must be submitted to LJA Engineering, Inc. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified or cashier's check payable to Montgomery County Municipal Utility District No. 158 in an amount not less than five percent of the Bid submitted must accompany each bid. Bidders may submit bids electronically and must register on the specified website to do so. Montgomery County Municipal Utility District No. 158 reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The successful bidder will be the responsible bidder which in the Board’s judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the project. The requirements of Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Government Code, may apply and bidder/contractor agrees that the contract can be terminated if compliance provisions are knowingly or intentionally not met. Bidders must not have received a notice of noncompliance with Subchapter J, or must have taken adequate steps to ensure compliance if such a notice was received.
