Site work for a civil project in Buchanan, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
A summary of the work items is included below: The project includes the construction of the permanent well discharge piping, pressure filtration system, filter building, chemical feed, clearwell, finished water pump station, solids handling pond, yard piping, site improvements, electrical, and instrumentation. The work of constructing the project will be let under one Contract if an award should be made; and the Owner reserves the right to select the Bid considered by the Owner to be in the best interest of the Owner. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to Haralson County Water Authority, in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgment, the best interest of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
