The crosswalk should include appropriate pedestrian signage, push activated amber led flashers to alert traffic, and powered by solar. At this time the Summer Village of Birchcliff is seeking to install one set located at Birchcliff Lane crossing Birchcliff Road into a adjacent Municipal Reserve. Heavy foot traffic occurs at this location to access community docks, this system will improve pedestrian safety.
