This bid is for furnishing to the Department of Water and Power, Chemical, Corrosion Scale Inhibitor as may be ordered during a period of one (1) year with two (2) one-year renewal options beginning with the effective date of the contract, in accordance with the bid specifications and other identified documents. Delivery is desired within 7 calendar days but shall not exceed 10 calendar days from receipt of order. The successful contractor shall furnish and deliver chemical, corrosion scale inhibitor ordered by the department during the period of up to 3 years. Any award made will include all items in a single contract. Bidders must submit a complete bid on all items, and award will be made to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder. All bids are subject to confirmation and issuance of a purchase order or contractual document. The bidder shall not change any wording in the specifications; any explanation of or alternatives offered must be set forth in a letter attached to the bid or in the bidder comments box. Alternatives that do not substantially comply with the department's specifications will not be considered and deemed non-compliant. Delivery is F.O.B. destination. Invoices must show all required details, and payment will be made within 30 calendar days after delivery and receipt of correct invoice. The bid is subject to the City of Los Angeles' program requirements for recycled content, affirmative action, and Local Business Preference Program as applicable.
