Rehabilitation of 18" PCCP force main with flexible reinforced pipe liner The Project consists of the rehabilitation of a portion of the Liverpool force main. The 18-inch PCCP Liverpool force main is to be rehabilitated using a flexible fabric reinforced pipe. The project also includes the replacement of valve vaults and access and air valve manholes. Casey Ganley presented an aerial map showing the location of the facilities. B. The project generally includes the following: a. Cleaning and televising of 12,200 linear feet of 18-inch PCCP force main b. Installation of 12,200 linear feet of 18-inch flexible fabric reinforced pipe lining in the 18-inch PCCP force main including access pits c. Installation and operation of a bypass pumping system d. Replacement of access manholes and air valve manholes e. Construction of a valve vault f. Replacement of existing valve at Liverpool pumping station Dennis Coleman reviewed the M/WBE utilization and work force goals, which are 18% MBE and 12% WBE with a 30% combined M/WBE. It was noted that all M/WBE forms should be completed and submitted with the bid. Mark Parrish noted Addendum No. 1 had been issued and included updated M/WBE forms. Bernie Mahoney reviewed some of the bid requirements and noted the following: i. In accordance with the New York State Labor Law bidders are required to submit their Certificate of Registration with the bid. Failure to submit the Certificate of Registration may render the bidder non-responsive and the bid could be disqualified. ii. Each bid must be accompanied by bid surety in an amount not less than 5% of the bid amount and a Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of the bid amount. iii.
