The City of San Antonio (City), Capital Delivery Department (CDD) is issuing a Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals (RFCSP) for qualified firms (Respondents) to provide construction services for the District 1 Parks & Multigenerational Recreation Facility (2022 Bond). The project consists of an addition to and the renovations of the West End Senior Center and other work indicated in the contract documents. The Project consists of a 7,116 SF addition and selective demolition of existing sitework and existing building. The construction project includes but is not limited to selective demolition of existing building interior walls/doors/ceilings/flooring/kitchen equipment. New sitework includes paving/ramps. New one-story building addition to have concrete foundation, steel framing, exterior brick veneer to match existing, aluminum storefront entrances and windows and standing seam metal roof. In addition, new interior classrooms, crafts room, office, meeting, business areas and restrooms with metal stud/gypsum board walls, suspended acoustical panel ceilings and flooring. New associated mechanical, electrical and plumbing. Existing pavilion steel structure to be disassembled/relocated as noted.
