The scope of work to be included in the multi-year contract may include, but is not limited to: preparing project funding applications and Capital Improvements Program (CIP) documents; performing design, bidding and negotiation, construction administration, and resident inspection services; assisting with DBE Program overall goal updates and program administration; constructing or rehabilitating airfield drainage systems, airfield grading, paving, lighting, and NAVAIDs/ILS improvements; constructing or rehabilitating airport buildings (terminal, hangars, maintenance); constructing or rehabilitating airport roadways and parking lots; installing or upgrading airport fencing and security systems; and such other airport-related work as deemed necessary by the Jenkins County Board of Commissioners. Required information must be clearly presented, including team description, organizational chart, resumes for key personnel, relevant experience at comparable airports in Georgia within the past five years, office proximity to Millen Airport, references from at least four current airport clients in Georgia, familiarity with FAA Atlanta District Office and Georgia DOT Aviation Programs, and a summary of current workload and schedule capabilities. Interested parties should submit four copies of the Statement of Qualifications, limited to 30 pages (excluding tabs and a cover letter not exceeding two pages), printed single-sided on 8.5” x 11” paper, in a sealed and clearly marked envelope or box. Price proposals are not required at this time. Firms shall have no contact related to this project with Jenkins County Board of Commissioners officials or employees during the Statement of Qualifications process; any such contact may result in immediate disqualification for consideration for this project.
