Demolition for a retail development in Constantine, Michigan. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 6,600-square-foot, one-story above grade retail development.
The project includes the abatement and demolition of the commercial building at 175 North Washington Street in Constantine, Michigan, also known as the former D&S Food Center. Work includes the complete structural demolition of the approximately 6,600 square-foot building, including its slab-on-grade foundation and footings; abatement of asbestos-containing roofing and flashing materials; removal and disposal of all identified universal wastes, regulated wastes, and chemical materials; abandonment of site utilities; and final site restoration. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The Village of Constantine reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Village.
