Renovation of a power facility in Dimondale, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade power facility.

The Department of Technology, Management and Budget is requesting professional engineering services to perform Phase 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, and 700 Professional Services at the Energy Center, Dimondale, Michigan. The intent is to select a firm to design a project to replace the existing secondary main switchgear GE Multilin 750 safety relays. Each relay breaker will need to be programmed and tested before installation, with a scheduled outage and coordination with Consumers Energy required. The PSC will meet with DTMB personnel to determine the full scope of repairs/improvements, administer construction in phases 600 and 700, and participate in the contractor bidding and selection process. The proposal must provide a complete scope of required Architectural and Engineering Services in compliance with DTMB requirements, and produce deliverables detailed in the Scope of Work, including design services from schematic plans through contract documents, milestone submittals, construction administration, document preparation, required testing, and construction documentation. The proposal must include meetings (at least four in person), progress reporting, identification and costing of testing, reimbursable expenses, and a detailed schedule. All field services, travel, permitting, and testing must be itemized as reimbursable items. Proposals must be uploaded in SIGMA VSS with detailed itemization and should combine technical and cost details where possible. Compliance with all applicable codes and standards is required.
