Site work and paving for a road / highway in Blair, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Sealed bids are being accepted for Asphalt Crack Sealing on approximately 50 miles of hard-surfaced roads in Washington County. All materials and workmanship must meet current Nebraska Department of Transportation specifications. Bidders must submit their proposals with either cash, a certified check, or a bid bond payable to the County Clerk in the amount of 10% of the bid, along with a Certificate of Insurance. The successful bidder will be required to provide a 100% Surety Bond. The Washington County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to add or subtract projects with or without reason. Specifications and bid forms may be obtained from the Washington County Road Department. Washington County reserves the right to add additional work for the quoted price submitted by vendor and also retains the right to remove miles from total depending on budget figures. An oil-bath, double walled, temperature controlled, pressurized kettle shall be used. Cracks must be dry and blown out with loose material removed prior to adding crack filler. Cracks shall be filled level to the existing road surface and smoothed with a squeegee. Crack seal material shall meet or exceed State of Nebraska minimum specifications.
