The successful bidder will be responsible for carrying out painting work, including varnishing interior woodwork and applying epoxy-based finishes to gypsum walls and ceilings. The work will be carried out on a management and construction basis. Once the contract has been awarded, the Corporation will assign the contract to the project manager, Pomerleau Inc., which will become fully responsible for the contract as general contractor. The Corporation will not disburse any funds in connection with the performance of this contract, as the cost of the work is already provided for in the contract with the manager-builder entered into under tender CRW59842 (SEAO reference number 20006128). The contractor must accompany their tender with a tender guarantee valid for a period of 45 days from the deadline date and time set for the receipt of tenders. This guarantee must represent at least 10% of the amount tendered. Before the contract is concluded, the Contractor whose name is selected will be asked to provide a performance bond in an amount equal to 50% of the contract amount, in the form of a surety bond issued by a company legally authorized to act as surety, in accordance with the third paragraph of section 12 of the Regulation respecting construction work contracts of public bodies.
