Site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Marion, Indiana. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel.

Design and construct the Mississinewa Pedestrian Bridge, which will cross the Mississinewa River from E 1st Street to the Marion YMCA parking lot to the north. The bridge will be a three-span continuous steel beam bridge with a concrete deck, featuring a 30-foot clear path on the end spans and a 70-foot clear path in the middle span. The superstructure must be built above the 100-year flood elevation and designed to carry the dead load of any aesthetics chosen to make it a signature bridge. Evaluation criteria for selection include experience and expertise, proposed project approach and management team, offeror's financial condition, and proposed scoping costs.
